Tahquamenon Falls is the second highest and largest
waterfall east of the Mississippi (Niagara is bigger). It
is widely visited and is beautifully set in the deep woods.
One must walk about 3/4 of a mile from the parking lot to
reach the falls. The Lower Falls is set about 4 miles below
the Upper Falls.
